For the last few weeks, I have been working on my Xmas musical to be released today on December 23rd. The musical consisted of a 4 act musical.
The first act was a cover song. A Brazilian cover song called “Infeliz Natal” (unhappy xmas). I picked the song for several reasons, which was explained with the acting prior to the cover.
The second act was an original song called Jingle Cat. Song that was made on Xmas 2022, where my Xmas actually started to become a happy one. Since I overcame the trauma where it is mentioned on act 1.
The third act was also an original song called the Kitty fan. Song created by Luke and me that we presented on the acoustic form back in 2023 on a Xmas Carol, which I made the rock and roll studio version.
The fourth act was going to be my first iron maiden cover. The icing on the cake by overcoming the whole childhood trauma mentioned on Act 1 for good.
I spent the last few weeks rehearsing the songs, and on the night of the 21st, I finished the recording on the original songs. On the morning of the 22nd, when I was ready to record the covers and the acting, my computer completely shut it off with no sign of life.
Having said the musical launch will be postponed until I get another computer and record the songs again. The bright side of it, it is that independently of the musical being up or not, I overcame the trauma. So much so that computer breaking it an act of punishment by God for doing rock and roll like it I felt many times before. Yes, I used to think that, in fact, that was the major topic of my therapy sessions back in 2020 and 2021, believe or not.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to resting and having a good time with my kids in this holiday season.
